Welcome to Midland Gate Shopping Centre, the heart of Perth's eastern corridor. Located at 274 Great Eastern Highway in Midland, we're the most eastern regional shopping centre in the Perth metropolitan area — and one of the few in Western Australia to feature all three discount department stores: Kmart, Target, and Big W.

With over 220 stores, three major supermarkets (Coles, Woolworths, and ALDI), a vibrant fresh food market hall, a bustling food court, and an eight-screen Ace Cinemas complex, Midland Gate is your one-stop destination for fashion, dining, entertainment, and everyday essentials. Midland Gate is well connected by Transperth bus and train services. Midland Station — located just a 10-minute walk from the centre — is the terminus of the Midland Line, with frequent services running to and from Perth CBD. A brand-new state-of-the-art Midland Station opened on 22 February 2026 as part of the METRONET project, featuring a 23-stand bus interchange and an 800-bay multi-storey car park. Several bus routes stop directly outside the centre or within a short walk, including:

  • Route 300 — Circular service via Midland Gate from Midland Station
  • Routes 277 & 278 — To/from High Wycombe Station
  • Route 291 — To/from Kalamunda and Redcliffe Station
  • Route 310 — To/from Upper Swan
  • Route 358 — Local services

The nearest bus stop, Great Eastern Hwy Before Sayer St, is just a 3-minute walk from the centre entrance. Visit transperth.wa.gov.au for timetables and journey planning.

Midland Gate is accessible via Perth’s expanding cycle network. Bike racks are available at several centre entrances for secure parking.


The New Midland Station project has introduced approximately one kilometre of shared path connecting to the existing cycle network at Morrison Road and Lloyd Street, making it easier than ever to ride to the centre. A bicycle shelter is also available at Midland Station for those combining cycling with public transport.

Centre Facilities

Midland Gate offers accessible bathroom facilities and parent's rooms located throughout the Centre (in Market Central, near The Coffee Club, Customer Service Desk and Food Court). We also provide accessible parking bays that are wider than standard and positioned close to each centre entry for your convenience.
Get connected at Midland Gate with our free Wi-Fi service. The free Wi-Fi service is available to customers with compatible smartphones, tablets, and laptops. To connect, simply select Free Wi-Fi Midland Gate, open a browser on your laptop or mobile device, accept the terms and conditions, and click connect.
