Celebrate NAIDOC week with Team MaOchre at Midland Gate this school holidays

This NAIDOC week, join Team MaOchre at Midland Gate for a series of free, hands-on workshops that celebrate culture, creativity and connection.

Held during the first week of the school holidays, these workshops are the perfect way to connect with culture and get creative. Learn traditional techniques, hear stories and create something special to take home. Each activity is guided by local indigenous artists.

Mini Basket Weaving

Learn the art of weaving with MaOchre Gallery and Quiddity Designs

Beaded Leather Pouch Making

Create a one-of-a-kind leather pouch with MaOchre Gallery and Native Gold Jewellery, and select a special crystal or rock born of this country to place inside.
